The HPE Application Control and Management System for OpenVMS (ACMS) is a transaction processing monitor designed for the HPE OpenVMS operating systems. ACMS software helps users through the entire application development life cycle, including the installation, planning, design, development, testing, implementation, management, and maintenance of complex transaction processing applications. ACMS provides a special-purpose application definition language for the structured definition of transaction processing application functions and run-time characteristics. ACMS includes a complete run-time system for application deployment. The ACMS run-time system consists of eight specialized processes.
