Because the cable meets or exceeds the USB-IF specifications this cable can be safely used with confidence on any USB-C host/device without concerns about damage being caused by a non-compliant cable.
Features The cable is electronically marked (e-marker) with an IC (sometimes referred to as an "active cable") to assist in negotiation of charging rates and USB-C alternate modes. Gold plated connectors with nickel plated shell and 26 AWG coaxial cable for maximum EMI shielding and excellent data transmission integrity.
