With no external power supply required the USB Swipe Reader is hardware compatible with any computer or terminal with an USB interface. It supports single, dual or three tracks of the card's magnetic stripe as well as bi-directional read capability. The Swipe Reader reads encoded cards that meet ISO/ANSI/CDL/AAMVA standards. The lifetime is up to 1, 000, 000 passes with ISO-conforming cards.
