Using the HPE EVA Command View as the orchestration platform, 3PAR Online Import Software enables the migration of data from a source HPE EVA Storage to a destination HPE 3PAR StoreServ Storage. It enables direct data migration, without the need of host resources.

  HPE 3PAR Online Import Software uses scriptable CLI commands to automate and simplify data migration and works without requiring complex planning or dependency on professional services or third party applications/tools to migrate data.
• Lowers capital expenditure for technology refresh
  This software leverages HPE 3PAR StoreServ Thin Express ASIC to power the simple and rapid conversion of inefficient, "thick" volumes on source system to more efficient, higher-utilization "thin" volumes on the destination HPE 3PAR StoreServ Storage. In addition, it removes allocated, but unused storage capacity, so the purchased capacity on the destination HPE 3PAR StoreServ Storage array can be right-sized for written data.
