Designed for HP ProLiant Gen8 blade servers, the HP InfiniBand FDR/Ethernet 10 Gb 2P 544M adapter based Mellanox ConnectX-3 technology and PCI Express 3.0 for unprecedented scalability and fabric flexibility. Both deliver low-latency InfiniBand bandwidth, up to 40 Gbps Quad Data Rate (QDR), for performance driven server and storage clustering applications in High Performance Computing (HPC) and enterprise data centers. End-to-end Quality of Service (QoS) enables partitioning and guaranteed service levels while hardware-based congestion control prevents hot spots from degrading the effective throughput.
