Congratulations to Saudi Telecom Company’s procurement team! In Singapore last week, Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC), lead by Head of Technology Procurement, Hani AlSaigh beat off strong competition to win the Asia Pacific Procurement External Collaboration Awards 2019.  The award is a validation of STC's drive to be world class and decision to benchmark themselves against the best in the industry.

Andres said, “It’s the second year running Markit has supported this award. Strong and transparent relationships are vital to the success of external collaborations as we see with our 2,000+ loyal/international clients in 33 countries. None of us achieve success in life alone and successful partnerships require trust, transparency and honesty. It was an honour to present the award to STC. Their enormous project involved modernising 80% of their mobile network to harness 5G technology and meet client demand. It required STC, alongside its strategic partners, to develop bespoke, wide-ranging and cutting-edge collaboration methodologies, tools and techniques that were robust enough to meet the procurement challenges whilst maintaining alignment with governmental regulatory bodies. A truly impressive achievement.”
