The ultra compact fi-65F from Fujitsu has been especially designed for easy and quick scanning of single, small format documents. With impressive convenience the fi-65F redefines small document scanning within customer facing environments.
The fi-65F is widely suited to a large range of applications particularly those where fast and speedy scanning of personal documents such as a prescription, passport, driving license or identification card is required. This could typically be within a doctor's surgery, financial institution, airport, hotel, embassy, government office, company reception or police station.
The fi-65F is able to scan an A6 sized grayscale or black and white document (200 / 300 dpi) in one second, or in color in just 1.7 seconds at 200 dpi. Coupled with an impressively quick start up time, this means that where scanning is done in customer facing environments there is very little delay in processing times.
The fi-65F is the smallest scanner in its class with a footprint of just 14.5 x 23.4 cm and can be comfortably installed when space is at a premium. Should access to a mains power supply be limited then the scanner can be optionally powered by USB with similar scanning speeds (just 2 seconds for an A6 color or black and white document at 200 dpi).
The operability of the fi-65F is further enhanced with a scan button that can immediately initiate the scan process to pre-defined settings. Additionally scanning can be done with or without the easily removable cover meaning that a document could be placed on the glass surface, scan button pressed and scanned image stored all in a matter of seconds without any unnecessary effort.
Bundled with the fi-65F scanner is PaperStream IP and PaperStream Capture, which are a genuinely developed TWAIN and ISIS scanner driver and document capture software application, designed for enhanced image processing and instant batch scanning.

  The fi-65F has an impressively small footprint of only 145 x 234 mm, making it ideally suited for even the smallest desktop, reception, check-in desk or cashier booth. It can even be built into the counter-top. The device features High Speed USB 2.0 connectivity, outstanding performance and easy installation. The scanner can be powered through a second USB port on the computer - it can be used easily even in mobile environments where an AC power supply is unavailable. The fi-65F is able to scan A6 sized document in one second. Furthermore, only 0.5 seconds are needed to start scanning. Rapid start-up means customers will not have to wait at the counter.

  The Fujitsu fi-65F increases user productivity with fast, one-second image capture (at 200 dpi) and coverless scanning. When full detail is needed, the Fujitsu fi-65F delivers clean, crisp scans up to 148 x 105 mm - in color, grayscale or monochrome - with true, 600 dpi optical resolution. Color scans take just 1.7 seconds at 200 dpi. Coverless scanning eliminates the repetitive task of opening and closing the cover before and after each scan. Simply place documents on the flatbed, press the Scan button and scan! Auto-cropping functions optimize the scan size, which helps to conserve storage resources, and auto deskew orientates the scanned image to the correct orientation regardless of how the original is placed on the flatbed.
