Gone are the F110's battery and storage drive covers, enabling easy tool-less removal of the hot-swappable batteries and the SSD for data sharing and security. Added is a camera privacy shutter, while the expansion slot has been relocated from the device's back to its side, making assorted multifactor security measures, such as fingerprint scanning and RFID scanning, more easily accessed.

  Getac is a dedicated rugged device specialist, with the F110 built to exacting standards. Its fully-rugged chassis is now even more resistant to shock, spill, vibration, and drop resistance without damage or disruption. Military-grade certification, with the MIL-STD-810H standard, guarantees extreme and improved temperature operability from -29°C to +63°C (-20°F to 145°F), with its ingress protection has also been upgraded with the IP66 rating, guaranteeing complete resistance to dust, and improved water tolerance.
