Das AS690HX bietet zwei Freisprechprofile, ist hörgerätekompatibel und der integrierte Echo-Modus verbessert die Akustik. Die Lautstärke ist 5-stufig wählbar. Im Telefonbuch lassen sich bis zu 100 Namen und Nummern ablegen, der Anrufschutz merkt sich bis zu 32 festgelegte Sperrnummern. Verpasste Anrufe werden im Display und durch die blinkende Hörer-Taste gezeigt, unerwünschte Störungen zu später Uhrzeit werden durch den Tag-Nachtmodus einfach verhindert.
