ORDER MANAGEMENT

Keep track of the order flow and organise deliveries to different locations within a single country and internationally.

Most orders in Markit have standard track & trace links and there are automatic notifications for any delays.

Get an overview of all you orders for all your destination addresses and companies in one view.

Add PO numbers and cost centre data to the orders to ensure smooth delivery and invoice acceptance.

User Dashboard

The front page dashboard displays and lists action items like unconfirmed orders, overdue invoices or user accounts needing your attention from all the companies you are associated with.

This brings time critical data from different areas of the system to one place for quick overview and resolution making it faster to notice issues and getting things done.

Billing Notes and References

Markit supports three types of user notes on orders and invoices: billing reference which is typically used for PO numbers, free text billing note at the end of the invoice and order line comments.

Customers can make use of this to indicate cost centres and cost categories by line items or by order and as a result matching the order to internal PO entry.

Typically - purchasers have detailed knowledge of the PO’s and cost centres involved in each order but if this information is not found on supplier invoices then the whole process of invoice acceptance in accounts payable can become unnecessarily long and work intensive.

Order history & export

Every order ever made in Markit under any associated company can be searched and found years later by any keyword (part number, product name, brand, category, PO, purchaser, delivery address) in the order history view. The same data is also exportable to Excel for further analyses and pivot table reports.

Often times customers inform us that their internal ERP systems are not capable of bringing out relevant data about IT purchases easily or not at all. Opex and capex yes - but what brands you buy, in which categories, how much and how often? These questions are all easy to answer with Markit order history.
