Important change: new product catalogue tree in MarkIT

We are glad to announce a launch of new and improved product catalogue tree in MarkIT online system.
With database of more than one million products globally the product catalogue is at the centre of MarkIT online system.
Faster browsing with three levels The new catalogue now offers three levels of categorization. This means that number of sub-categories has increased but because the drill down is fast and more convenient customers can zoom in to the required products much faster.
Easier to find products With more sub-categories there are less items crowding the categories. This means also that the parametric search parameters can be more precise and all this makes for a much faster process for finding suitable products.
Less mistakes and quality of the MarkIT system With improved category tree we believe we are minimizing the amount of mistakes that tend happen when dividing large amount of products into categories. This has been an issue for some time with products ending up in „Other“ category for various reasons.
With all these changes the quality of the MarkIT online system will improve – making it the most advanced online purchasing system for companies in Europe. |

This is a big change and one that might come with few glitches and nags along the way. Previous version of the product catalogue has been with us for more than 4 years. Over that time the product selection in MarkIT has grown more than 5 times.
